It centres on Mavis Charlize Theron, excellenta year-old, alcoholic writer of teen fiction who goes into meltdown when she spots an old flame's baby posted online. She promptly makes her way back to her miserable hometown this film, unlike so many others, has zero affection for hometowns to wreck Patrick Wilson's blandly perfect marriage to Beth Elizabeth Reaser. Very funny in places, excruciating in others, Young Adult is a bold look at failure.
Dom Brunt's bizarre and genre breaking Attack of the Adult Babies delivered one of the most inventive and gross-out pieces at Horror Channel FrightFest No one could have guessed what this movie was going to be about and let's just say it split the audience right down the middle. It's a stomach punch of satire, horror and surreal comedy that takes time to sink in so this Blu-ray edition is the perfect opportunity to watch the film several times, so you can "get" what the message is and that all the weird stuff going on means something in the end!

It was the first they shot exclusively in 70mm, the first with a stereo soundtrack, and it combined all the best animation, rostrum camera and colour thinking the studio accumulated over the previous 25 years. For me personally, what I find in Sleeping Beauty is an underlying message about the sheer expense of ultra high quality animation, and the shrinking practicalities of it in fifties America. There are some marvellous sequences, like the scene where Maleficent turns herself into a Dragon, that are superb.
